The first step of a routine eye examination in the Department of Ophthalmology is to listen to the patient's complaints about vision problems. In a routine eye examination, depending on the characteristics of the complaints, first of all, the external appearance of the eyebrows, eyelids and the viewing position of the eyes are observed. The patient's refractive error is measured with the help of a computerized ORM (Autorefractometer) and retinoscope. The visual acuity of both eyes without and with glasses is determined. During biomicroscopy examination, eyelashes, conjunctiva, cornea and other anterior segment elements of the eye are carefully examined. Then eye pressures are measured.
